School Facilities
The facilities entail 3 computer labs, research center and library, arts and athletics complexes, as well as photography labs, a theater, studios for the arts, a climbing wall, 5 athletic fields, 9 tennis courts, a hockey rink, ski and snowboard center, 2 ponds, and a 325-acre mountain area. The school supports a comprehensive iPad Program.
Academics
The first New England Boarding School to offer the International Baccalaureate Program, New Hampton’s thorough curriculum is rooted in personal exploration, civic engagement, and global awareness. Alumni have gone on to attend Cornell, Columbia, Princeton, University of Colorado Boulder, Trinity College, and Brown University.
Extra-curricular Activities
New Hampton offers an array of courses, including comedic improvisation, environmental art, media productions, design for communications, 2D and 3D design, photography, and contemporary music ensemble. Interscholastic and team athletics include alpine skiing, basketball, equestrian, football, ice hockey, mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding and tennis.
