Brighton College

Named England’s Independent School of the Year 2019, Brighton is the highest ranked co-educational school in the history of the publication, and the top boarding school in the UK. Geographic Location

Perfectly located on the south coast of England, within sight of the sea and walking distance of the South Downs countryside, as well as the famous Brighton Pier.

School Facilities

The new School of Science and Sport contains 18 university-standard laboratories and a 25-metre swimming pool. Other buildings include a Creative Learning Centre, designed by award-winning architects Hopkins, and world-class Music School and Sarah Abraham Recital Hall.

Academic Results

Over the past five years, pupils have gone on to attend some of the world’s finest universities: 102 to Cambridge, 65 to UCL and 56 to Oxford. Around 20% of pupils are offered places at Oxford or Cambridge every year. With 99% A*AB at A-level and 90% 9-7/A*A at GCSE, it’s consistently one of the top performing schools in the country.

Extra-curricular Activities 

Many boarders have dance lessons or attend football, hockey, netball and tennis coaching with local clubs in the evenings. Other activities include badminton, baking club, board games, circuits, football, French club, mindfulness, film club and movie nights, yoga and Zumba.
